Marina Dalmacija, today’s D-Marin Dalmacija, was designed by architect Nikola Bašić. The most famous work, that is, the work by which the public perceives it best, is the Zadar organ and the “Greeting to the sun” complex. For his genius in research and expression of space, he received an honorary doctorate from the University of Split, and HAZU awarded him the title of academician.
