It is located in the Resnik area west of Kaštel Štafilić, 6 km from the historical jewel of Trogir and 25 km from Split. After Zagreb Airport “Franjo Tuđman”, it is the second busiest airport in the country. In 2021, it took over the primacy of the busiest airport in Croatia. when it was the busiest airport in Croatia with 1,577,584 passengers.
