ACI MARINA ŠIMUNI
Due to its position, it can be said that ACI marina Šimuni is the northern entrance to Dalmatia, i.e. the last marina in the Kvarner water area. Precisely because of this positioning, it is equally interesting to organize cruises to the northern Adriatic or to the south. The relative proximity of Zadar Airport, i.e. good traffic connections, make this marina very attractive. The island of Pag, with its seemingly harsh views, offers a different picture than what you are used to on the Adriatic islands – here the colors are different, the stone structure is more unusual, and the sun shines almost all year round. You go to sea and we can help you with that.

Interesting fact:
The port of Šimuni was a transshipment port for coal mined in the Kolan mines. The Kolan mines, where at one point as many as 200 miners worked. Šimune was connected by a railway that was operated by a specially constructed locomotive. The railway passed through fences, plots of land surrounded by dry stone walls. The locomotive was accompanied by a person who was in charge of opening and closing the doors of those lots. The mine, although in a smaller capacity, worked until the middle of the Second World War.
